Sunshine Day

I recently attended Sunshine Day again, a special day for cancer patients and their carers held at the Emu Plains Community Centre.

This is a great initiative, supported by the Cancer Council, Blue Mountains Cancer Help and Lyndel Walsh Inner Harmony. Sunshine Day aims to give a day off to local cancer patients and carers - as the organisers put it "A day of pampering, relaxation and enjoyment". Even in the rain last weekend, it was smiles all round at Sunshine Day!

I want to congratulate and thank the individuals and organisations involved in making Sunshine Day the success that it was. Particular congratulations go to Lyndel and her great team for the wonderful job they do.

    Why believe Premier Barry O'Farrell able to deliver commitments meeting NSW $4.5 billion black hole not to explore a Health Olympic?
    Although Premier Barry O'Farrell has signed a contract to the people of NSW to deliver commitments, and that contract will be honoured. An honourable government is importantly to advancing the state, to create more opportunities for people to work on, and to ease the cost of their life that in happy to stay such state.
    But the true story is any Politician still sits on the position for four years until the beat down by doing little, regardless the deliver commitments on time. If they resigned early due to incompetence, they still enjoyed all retirement benefits with worry free.
    Why a Health Olympic guarantee NSW back to number one state?
    • Inventing health improvement patterns;
    • Growing high antioxidant healthy grains and plants;
    • Manufacturing high antioxidant healthy grain powder products;
    • Exporting its health improvement knowledge and pattern; and
    • Exporting health improvement resources (including human resources).

    Thanks for your support too Stuart (and Marise). It is just a shame that this part of our community is continuing to grow - but it wa great to see everyone there on the day being pampered and finding out more to help them on their journeys. I'd esecially like to thank the wonderful therapists who gave their time and talents and Karen for the excellent food we enjoyed at lunch time! Its a great feeling when we all pull together!
