$30,000 for Penrith Symphony Orchestras 30th Anniversary Season

Stuart Ayres MP, Member for Penrith joined Mr John Pearce, President of the Penrith Symphony Orchestra (PSO) to announce a NSW Government grant to support their 2018 Annual Program.

Stuart Ayres said Penrith Symphony Orchestra has been successful in securing a NSW Government Arts and Cultural Development Program grant of $30,000.

“2018 will be a huge year for the PSO as they celebrate with their 30th Anniversary Concert Season” said Stuart Ayres.

“The funding being provided will help the PSO to deliver their program to the Penrith and wider community throughout 2018 including their special Anniversary Gala Concert,” Stuart Ayres said.

Mr Pearce welcomed the funding saying it will also assist with the growing Penrith Youth Orchestra initiative which is a focus for the PSO in 2018.

Program funding supports the NSW Government’s Create in NSW framework, which guides strategy, investment and partnerships to grow a thriving, globally connected arts and cultural sector.

The Arts and Cultural Development Program is administered by Create NSW on behalf of the NSW Government.
