FIRST NSW BREAKDOWN SAFETY GUIDE
The NSW Government has produced a glove box guide for motorists among a range of measures to reduce crashes in breakdown situations on high speed roads .Roads Minister Duncan Gay said the Breakdown Safety Guide, the first of its kind in NSW, is part of a Centre for Road Safety education campaign to build awareness in breakdown situations
The information in the Breakdown Safety Guide will be added to the NSW Road User Hand Book so new drivers will be aware of the precautions they need to take if they are faced with a breakdown situation. A copy can be downloaded at www.rta.nsw.gov.au
