Labor’s smear campaign continues to run in overdrive, with the State Government attempting to whip up fear over road tolls, Liberal Campaign Spokeswoman Gladys Berejiklian said today.
\”We reject completely the report commissioned by Labor and prepared by the RTA,\” Ms Berejiklian said.
\”This report cannot be believed, it’s not true and it’s just more lies, fear and smear from Labor.
\”Under Labor commuters will continue to pay tolls without having a public transport option.
\”A NSW Liberals & Nationals Government will deliver the South West and North West rail links to give commuters a viable public transport alternative.
\”We want to give commuters the option to pay no road toll at all by giving them a public transport alternative.
\”Why is this report being prepared at this time, why has Labor released it at this time – it’s all part of Kristina Keneally and Labor’s smear and fear campaign in the lead up to the State Election.
\”We are happy to examine proposals that deliver greater fairness for drivers, but only if no drivers are worse off.
\”This report commissioned by Labor will have no place in a NSW Liberals & Nationals Government,\” Ms Berejiklian said.
