\”The Premier’s visit to Penrith builds upon his ongoing interest in Western Sydney as a centre for economic growth.\” Mr Ayres said.
\”People in Penrith know our region is a great place to live. We offer a great lifestyle, access to recreational activities and a friendly environment to raise a family.
\”We also have an enormous opportunity to build on that quality of life by creating jobs for the people who live here.
\”To do this we need to sell Penrith not only to the people who live here but more importantly the people who don’t.
\”We need to tell our story to the rest of the world in order to attract business investment, local jobs and to turn some of that local commuter traffic in the opposite direction so that more people who live here can work here too.
\”We need to compete with all the other regions fighting for investment in their local economies. Penrith’s branding strategy will present our best assets to the rest of the world and it requires the support of all stakeholders.
\”Everyone has their part to play in promoting our region. Whether you’re selling real estate or serving a coffee, we are all a part of the Penrith experience and we owe it to ourselves to make that experience a positive one.
