State rep awards

Stuart Ayres MP, Member for Penrith presented two local students, Joshua Debritt and Billy Kilgore with NSW Government State Representative Awards.

Joshua represented NSW in Touch Football and Billy in Athletics, both at the 2017 Pacific School Games.

“It’s always a great to see young people like Joshua and Billy getting out and showcasing their skills and representing our state as well as our local area,” said Stuart Ayres.

“Both of these young men are to be commended for their commitment to their chosen sport,” said Stuart Ayres.

Since the first Pacific School Games were held in Brisbane in 1982 with 2187 participants, the games have continued to grow with the 2017 Adelaide games attracting around 4000 participants and officials from 15 countries including those from every Australian state and territory.
