I recently attended Sunshine Day again, a special day for cancer patients and their carers held at the Emu Plains Community Centre.
This is a great initiative, supported by the Cancer Council, Blue Mountains Cancer Help and Lyndel Walsh Inner Harmony. Sunshine Day aims to give a day off to local cancer patients and carers – as the organisers put it \”A day of pampering, relaxation and enjoyment\”. Even in the rain last weekend, it was smiles all round at Sunshine Day!
I want to congratulate and thank the individuals and organisations involved in making Sunshine Day the success that it was. Particular congratulations go to Lyndel and her great team for the wonderful job they do.
